WNC is privileged to provide you with quality supplies, therefore, we carry Presencia Threads.   Presencia long-staple 100% Egyptian cotton threads are available in 40, 50, and 60 weight for hand and machine.  ALL 3 weights are 3-ply for strength. 

Presencia 40 weight, endorsed by Harriet Hargrave,  is great for machine and/or hand quilting.  

Presencia 50 weight is wonderful for garment making, general machine sewing, and some prefer it for needleturn applique.  

Presencia 60 weight is my personal thread of choice for needleturn applique, as it is so fine, yet so strong.  60 weight also improves your machine piecing because it is soooo fine, that it reduces the number of threads taken up when stitching and pressing seams.  All three weights are virtually lint free in your sewing machines (for which you may have taken out a loan...but I won't tell).

Presencia Perles are available in solids and variegated, sizes 5,8,12,& 16, and solid colors in size 3.    The choice of colors is extensive~~and they are flat out pretty!  The size 16 can even be used on your machine.  I love the perles for wool applique and embellishment, as well as for needle punching, as they can be substituted for floss, and easily roll off the ball.

Wait~~there's more:  Presencia Metallic Flosses, with a core of silver, outshine and are so much stronger, not to mention prettier, than other metallics.  Pretty is important to me!

They also have your cottony cotton flosses, too, to die for, and rayon that makes one rave to do machine embroidery and applique. 

If you spend good time and money making something~~why not use the best threads?  You deserve it, and so does your project.  Besides~~they're pretty :o)

I used Presencia Metallic Floss to applique on wool and Presencia Perle  8 for utility stitch hand quilting in my Make and Take Class at Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis.  What a joy to teach and use Presencia Threads.  I used one of my newest designs, "Wintry Mix".  I love process as much as product, and this design enabled students to learn new skills as well as create their own designs.
